INGRoup Doctoral Consortium 2026
INGRoup proudly announces the Annual Doctoral Consortium to be held
immediately before the INGRoup conference in Pittsburgh! The aim of the consortium is to support the development of the next
generation of interdisciplinary group researchers via an inspiring consortium
titled:
“Feedback, Failure, & Funding”
Join us for an interactive doctoral consortium designed to foster scholarly growth, professional development, and community building among doctoral students and emerging researchers. This collaborative afternoon will provide participants with opportunities to refine research ideas, practice communicating their work, receive constructive peer feedback, and engage in candid conversations about the realities of academic and professional development.
Who can attend?
We have space for 30-50 PhD students who are
in their final 2 years of their program and who are members of INGRoup. If you are not currently a member, now is a great
time to join INGRoup, so that you can qualify for our
consortium.
When and where is the consortium?
The consortium will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 1:30 - 4:30 PM on the Carnegie Mellon University campus. Below
we outline the program points in a bit more detail. Each program point will
span across approximately 45 minutes. The exact location and agenda will be
shared with participants prior to the consortium.
What does the program entail?
- Giving and Receiving Feedback
- Networking and Pitching your Ideas
- Failures and Resilience
